When I play videos with the internal browser I get a black screen withing the video. If I hover over the timeline bar the video shows up but not in the video screen. I have all the lateest software updates. This seems to be only in ver .18. I finally went back to ver .17.7 and that fixed the problem. Anyone else having this problem. I love this reader and am going to continue using ver .17.
Thanks for any comments... Mike
Hi,
If possible please provide the feed for testing.
Kind regards,
Sheldon
Hi, the v18.2 use native html5, and need external codec.
Here with Youtube, but fails with Vimeo and more.
Thanks for the reply. Here is a link for testing. The video shows in the screen when the feed is selected (still) but when the play button is pushed and the video plays the screen is black but the sound plays. This is just one feed. No video plays from any feeds. I reinstalled v18 into another folder and still won't play but the one in the v17 folder will.
Thanks
Unfortunately there is no feed in your post.
Sorry

Running the video in QuiteRSS causes a buffer overrun. I would recommend to open the video in the external browser.
@funcy-dom:
This is a bug that needs to be fixed
The problem return to Youtube, few videos but not all can be played now, influences the size of the database in memory?
Thanks
