What can i do to monitor a forum's thread that do not offer RSS natively ?
Is there any QuiteRSS plugin that can be installed that would check for new threads everytime i hit the QuiteRSS "Update All" button ?
Or something simmilar to the https://twitrss.me/ ? (where it monitor's twiter thru rss)
Any other mechanism ? or suggestion ??
Hi,
you can try to create your own feed by using f. e. feed43 http://feed43.com/.
Kind regards,
Sheldon
Thanks a lot Sheldon. This is a nice example of site i was looking for (similar to the twitter one).
Anyway, i'll try to check for an account free option. Any suggestion is welcome.
The free account provides all you need.
First you need to find the recurring parts in the website's html that hold the information you are looking for.
With this you create your pattern. It's not as hard as it looks like.
Hi,
I would recommend to create a feed with news titles like f. e.
Franklin, Benjamin - Essays and short stories
using feed43
http://feed43.com/.
Kind regards,
Sheldon
