This may have been covered already, but I didn't find it in the search. That said, if this is a duplicate, my apologies.
I'm trying to filter out specific word combinations, but ignore instances where those words appear individually or in other pairs. Like so:
----
Juan Valdez - This would be marked read or deleted.
Juan - Ignored
Valdez - Ignored
Juan Pablo - Ignored
Carlos Valdez - Ignored
Valdez University defeats Juan University in baseball - Ignored
----
Sorry for the lame examples, but they get the point across. So, is this possible? If so, I'm obviously not doing something correctly. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Hi,
you can just use the expression "Juan Valdez" in your filter. That will work.
Kind regards,
Sheldon
Including the quotation marks? I'd try it out myself, but I'm mighty paranoid about screwing something up.
No, without the quotation marks.
So that filter will only trip when it sees the term as entered but not the individual parts? Good. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks for your help
Yes, the individual parts will be ignored.
