Somehow I ended up with 3 instances of QuiteRSS running, all showing different numbers of articles. An option to allow only one instance would be good for old 'uns like me who can't keep track. 
Also, the ability the store the sort criteria for each feed would be a big help.

Hi,
to set an individual feed sort criteria go to
Right click on the selected feed -> Properties -> Columns
and use the "Sort by" option. This sort criteria will be stored.

I had looked at that tab and still managed to miss the setting! I'll put it down to old age.
