So, how is version 2 coming along?
My QuiteRSS crashes regularly, probably every few days, and am looking forward to the upgrade.
I think the crashes have to do with the application not handling videos in the pages - I posted this years ago and was told it was an engine problem and not a fixable QRSS problem.
What OS you got?
Windows 7. Here is my original issue, which is still an issue for me since 2016. And, actually, funcy - it was you who told me it wasn't a QuiteRSS issue.
I'm still interested in how the version 2 is proceeding. I love this feedreader.
Try test version: http://yadi.sk/d/-mL1zh4gMHXwt
Unfortunately, I didn't have time to create QuiteRSS2
Well! The test version is very nice! Thanks for sharing that. Videos are playing well - I'll try and use it for awhile and see how it goes, but it's not crashing on videos anymore.
It *will* play both youtube and vimeo videos, but the fullscreen buttons don't work on the video players, neither in the browser panel, nor in a new tab.
Also, when I load this page from daFont: CF Cyborg by CloutierFontes, and try to download, I get a webkit error. But it works in the original QuiteRSS.
The settings have javascript enabled, and is using the embedded browser.
Would you like me to keep testing it? I would be pleased to be a beta-tester.
If there is a new version, I'll let you know

Thank you!
Can you fix this? I get the feed from dafont.com, but when it tries to download the font file, I get an error page saying:
Frame load interrupted by policy change
The download works in my regular browser though; and it used to work in older versions of QuiteRSS

Thanks!
Unfortunately no
But it used to work... [is crying] and it was so easy before..
This is a embedded browser problem. After his replacement, something improved, and something broke
Actually, I think the download *does* work - but it gives me the error page to go with it.
I get the same error when I try to download from download link in quiterss's own feed.
QuiteRSS 0.18.11 (31.05.2018)
I know that other version is being updated, but I don't want to use it because when you play videos in it, it crashes the entire program. So I'm still wanting to use this test version.
