I was working in QuiteRSS, reading news and downloading files. Then QuiteRSS crashed. When I re-opened the application all my work was gone--the feeds were not updated, the articles that I read were marked as unread. I couldn't distinguish which files I had downloaded and which I had not.
Maybe data should be saved more frequently, or is there a way to ensure that QuiteRSS never crashes?
All these things are stored in a db. If you go to Tools -> Options -> General you might have set the options
Store a DB in memory
and
Save DB stored in memory to file every x minutes.
You can disable these options or set x to a lower value.
Thanks Sheldon. I didn't know about the update frequency.
