Scrolling an open news item is one of the few actions in QuiteRSS where I switch to mouse input. It would be great to have the option to bind keys for Scroll News Item Down and Scroll News Item Up (personally I'd use the down and up arrow keys, but others may prefer a different pair of keys).
The ideal behavior would be that no matter which pane (Feeds, News, or Categories) is currently in focus, the selected keyboard shortcuts would still scroll the open news item.
If the browser window is in focus, you can use the standard keys: "PageUp" and "PageDown". To switch focus using "CTRL + TAB"
Yes, but the point of my suggestion/request is to be able to scroll without first changing focus.
And to clarify, I do not use the embedded browser. I am specifically talking about scrolling the pane with the news text-- I'm not sure what this pane is called exactly, but it's not the feeds list or news list (both of which can already be scrolled using keyboard shortcuts that do not depend on those panes being in focus.
The next version will keyboard shortcuts
News text displayed in the embedded browser.
Awesome! Thanks so much!
