Hi!

Where is the quiterss information stored?

I have installed a new OS, and I want to "reinstall" all my previous unread feeds, etc...

I see a config file in ~/.config/quiterss ... but... where is all the other information? the feeds list, and feeds data, etc?

Best regards, and sorry for the bad english Biggrin

Hi,

Hi,

the data is stored in the feeds.db file.

The settings like fonts, colors etc are stored in the QuiteRSS.ini.

Kind regards,

Sheldon

Oh, thanks a lot Sheldon!

Oh, thanks a lot Sheldon!
BTW, in what location should that file be located? I have done a search without luck at the moment...

Sheldon
They are located in the app

They are located in the app directory.

Which version (install/portable) and which OS do you use?

Go to the user dir in case of a Windows installation.

I am using manjaro (archlinux

I am using manjaro (archlinux based distro)... In the installation process I have formated / partition, leaving /home/username untouch
The app was on /usr/something or something similar?... so, I guess I have lost it lol... (the information)

I thought that kind of information was stored under /home/username/.something

At least I have a feeds.opml somewhere, will reinstall the feeds... not all lost

Sheldon
I would recommend to backup

I would recommend to backup the files feeds.db and QuiteRSS.ini on a regular base in the future.

Just for the log... the feeds

Just for the log... the feeds.db file is stored in /home/username/.local/share/QuiteRss/QuiteRss Biggrin

I found if because was reading this: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=218480

I have the same issue... will try installing the qt4 version........

Another "for the records" addendum... in quiterss-qt4 data files are stored in /home/username/.local/share/data/QuiteRss/QuiteRss
