How are duplicate news entries identified?  It is only by looking at the title, or does QuiteRSS also compare the description of the news as well?

Ok, that might explain why

Not sure what ID is, but that might explain why some duplicates get thru.

For example on Craigslist some posters post the same exact item multiple times...Title and Date will be the same but link might be different.  It would be very nice to be able to control how QuiteRSS handles this, for example to be able to exclude Link from the comparison.

In an instance from a few minutes ago, I only want to the first item, the others are exactly the same content.

i have a similar case; i

i have a similar case; i subscribe to http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/feed, where they have a tendency to change the title of the post several times after publishing.  If i could skip the title match in the duplicate-detecttion for that feed, i think the issue would be resolved.

Use the "Menu - Feeds - Properties - General - Automatically delete duplicate news"
