I assume you need an authorization to load the feed.
Due to the feed being related to a forum you may have a username and password.
It will work in your web browser because you stored the login data in the configuration.
If I follow the feed link I receive a permission denied message.
In the first place QuiteRSS doesn't know about the login data.
So you need to configure it with QuiteRSS in the add feed dialog.
Sheldon I knew that an authorization is needed so I did it in the feed dialog but it does not work . there are other rss links on this site and they work very well with quiteRSS. So I dont know how to solve this problem
Either there is something wrong with the xml or the SSL connection gets blocked by f. e. some firewall.
Did QuiteRSS ask you to accept any certificate?
Do the other feeds you mentioned use the https protocol as well?
You can identify the other feeds using the https protocol from the feed url.
If they don't require https it might be a hint.
Unfortunately I was not able to create a test account on that website to test the feed because they currently don't accept any new registrations. It's strange but true. So I postponed that.

No QuiteRSS did not ask me to accept any certificat
I dont know wheter the other feed use https protocol
it is not a question of firewall because the other rss connexion from the same site works
it is not very important I am just curious to know about this problem

I Cant identify the other feeds because nowhere there is a feed url it is just an extention of chrome and not a real feed software.
I can send you my ID and password on that site if needed by MP
The link you provided in your first post is https. Just check the links to the other feeds.
The login data would help. Please send it by mail if you want to. NOT in the forum for your own safety
Afterwards you can change the password.
Yes it is also https in the other feeds (I found it) Give your mail to send the informations because I dont have it
I found your email an I have sent you the informations
In the debug.log I found
10.05.2017 00:05:53.390 WARNING: "Request failed: result = -1, error - Error downloading //xxx
forum-andr.net/forum/71-full-software.xml/">https://xxx
forum-andr.net/forum/71-full-software.xml/ - server replied: Forbidden (202), url - https://forum-andr.net/forum/71-full-software.xml/"
I replaced your login data with xxx.
It seems that the server blocks the request.
ok they probably blocked it because IP is different
I contacted our project manager. He will look into it.
If you don't mind I will forward the login data to him.
I will wait for your confirmation.
ok no problem I agree
Done.
