Hi,

Hi,

it looks like QuiteRSS was not installed properly. I would recommend to try the portable version first- If that works fine you might uninstall and afterwards reinstall QuiteRSS. To avoid any registry problems I would recommend to restart your system in between.

Kind regards,

Sheldon

Thanks Sheldon.  I have

Thanks Sheldon.  I have uninstalled quiterss and downloaded portable edition . this time app crashes with  errors "Faulting module name: msvcrt.dll,Exception code: 0xc0000005"

That might be an explaination

That might be an explaination!

There really seems to be something wrong with your win10 installation because now another dll can't be found.

You can try to register the dll by.

- click START (Windows Start)

- type this "regsvr32 msvcrt.dll" in the command line

- press ENTER

and try to run QuiteRSS afterwards.

But you should also consider to perform a virus scan or setup win10 again. Maybe you can go back to the win10 before the upgrade,

Kind regards,

Sheldon

I reinstall  QuiteRss several times.

Can you help me ?

Thanks

Frederic

Hi Frederic,

Hi Frederic,

did you try to register the dll as described above?

Do you face the problem with the portable version as well?

Kind regards,

Sheldon

Hello

Hello

When i register the dll , the system message is " le module msvcrt.dll a été chargé mais le point d'entrée DLLRegisterServer est introuvable. Vérifiez que msvcrt.dll est un fichier DLL ou OCX valide".

Msvcrt.dll is present in c:\windows\system32 .

The portable edition doesn't work either.

The problem is present with "Windows 10 anniversary v 1607"  ; not in the old ?

Thanks for your help.

Frederic
