Email notifications from quiterss.org link to the https version of the site. When I go to https://quiterss.org/ with Firefox, I get the untrusted connection page, which explains "quiterss.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer) ". https access only to administrators.
You mean only admins can use the https? Then perhaps the email notifications to non-administrators should link to http.
QuiteRSS (and my statistics site: dom.prokudin.org, which is used by quiterss) uses free ssl cert from CACert which many opensource projects use. Because of it's free price some of browsers don't have it's Root CA certificate installed. You can install it from CACert site to avoid certificate error on a lot of sites with opensource .
